News Feed

Dot As of Tuesday 16th May, pharmacy at PCH and Stamford will no longer be issuing oxycodone immediate release capsules. Instead we will be issuing oxycodone liquid 5mg/5ml. Therefore, oxycodone liquid will be prescribed when required for breakthrough pain rather than immediate release capsules.
  • Work is underway to merge the Hinchingbrooke Hospital formulary with the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals formulary
  • The formulary lists those drugs that may be initiated in the Trust or where Trust clinicians can recommend initiation in primary care. Patients admitted, who are already established on non-formulary drugs, may continue on these drugs using their own supply initially. Patients referred to a tertiary centre, who return on a non-formulary drug, may also continue.
